need a new egg whisk

Postby scooter1964 » Sun Oct 12, 2014 9:45 pm

my Grauvell Zeus Z5000 has stripped its worm wheel, some what annoyed i look for the spares list but to no avail, next to the where and when did i get it, hmmm Veal's and had it over 6 years, 6 years of being my main real, 6 years of competition fishing without ever putting a foot wrong so I guess its earned its retirement, big question what to replace it with ?
I fish with a 16ft rod mainly Mersey and North Wales, fish with braid and can be a little heavy handed any ideas budget around £150

I just recently got a penn affinity at Taskers for £80, which seemed a good price. Only used it once so can't really say much about it except that it worked well and plenty of others say good things.

Ultegra for me too, proper work horses, fine with braid as line lay is great and has a good solid line runner.

I got the 8000 size from Ken's last week and pleased with it so far after trying it out at the match last Sunday.
