Remove retaining clip and then cover with a pin.

Use dremel to spin bearings in soapy water, rinse thoroughly in clean water and ensure completely dry.Alternatively you could put some lighter fluid in a small egg cup instead of using soapy water,and leave to dry without flushing with water

Clean bearing spinning without any lube.
